In an effort to conserve server space and give optimum gaming experience we would like to request you guys to release unused pokemon, in return we are giving away 250 coins per released pokemon. Good deal? Enjoy the game!

    better than 0? my Alakazam was deleted with out any notice… I took me ages to get him and somehow he was deleted… 5 tokens per pokémon

  pokeball costs 300, and when catch a pokemon you get some exp, so I guess it is a good deal

      click on the pokemon’s name you want to release. on the pokemon page there is a button on the top right corner “Release”. a pokemon can be released if its not in your lineup and not in a trade set

  Make sure the Pokemon is not on your team or on trades, you can’t release them when they are in those areas.

i find it funny that every1 is happy about this yet when i posted a topic on the forum with a suggestion like this every1 said it was a bad idea

If i may suggest, Please ad a check box and release button to the My Pokemon list, so that releasing would go faster and easier.
I currently have at least 25 pokemon I would release, but I have a slow connection so things take a long time to load causing this to be kind of annoying.

  right click the pokemon link, open in a new tap, for all of them, then delete each one and close its tab, thats the easy way to do it

  go to the pokemon center or training center’s PC and select change lineup
