They will disappear from the maps after Earth Day and will not appear again until the Unova maps are released so if you want one early, now is your chance!

Pansage, Deerling (Spring form), Tympole and Sewaddle! Check the Pokedex to find what map they are located on.

These four Pokemon lines will be on the map for 48 hours, then four more Grass or Earth line Pokemon will appear on different Kanto maps until the end of Earth day. After that they will not appear in the wild again until the Unova routes are released.

In addition, the first 25 Unova Pokemon have been released into the Token Shop. Have fun and happy Earth Day!

The NPCs have gathered in the Pokemon Center and the town maps of Pewter City for an Easter celebration so if you are interested in obtaining Easter forms you can find them there. They seek Easter Egg Hunt points (a favorite from last year), so if you want to obtain a few, defeat the wild Pokemon around the first 4 Kanto city route maps then speak with the Easter Point Hunter NPC at Pewter City A1 to convert the drop items to Hunt Points.

In addition, when walking around the route maps of Pewter and Cerulean City, you may stumble upon hidden Easter Eggs that you can obtain small goodies from. There are 5 of these hidden eggs in total, so find them all!

This event is open to everyone Tl 5 and above will last for 2 weeks, ending on April 14. Have fun!

The wild Pokemon across the Kanto region (this includes Crescent, SandCove, SummerRay and Emerald city) have a chance of dropping the items Two Leaf Clover and Four Leaf Clover when you defeat them.

There are NPCs on the route maps by Celadon, Vermillion and Cerulean city who are willing to exchange Four Leaf Clovers for various St. Patrick’s day forms, as well as an NPC on route 401 who will convert any extra Two Leaf Clovers into Four Leaf Clovers.

This event is open to everyone TL 5 and above and will last for 2 weeks, ending on March 31, 2013.

In addition the Castform and Rotom alternate forms have finally been released!
Castform can swap forms by using the following items:

Castform + Sundrop = Castform (Sun)
Castform + Raindrop = Castform (Rain)
Castform + Snowdrop = Castform (Ice)

Castform can freely swap between any of its alternate forms provided that you have enough of the item needed. Rotom can change forms using the following items:

Rotom + Fan = Rotom (Fan)
Rotom + Washing Machine = Rotom (Wash)
Rotom + Oven = Rotom (Heat)
Rotom + Lawn Mower = Rotom (Mow)
Rotom + Refrigerator = Rotom (Frost)

Please note that unlike Castform, Rotom will only change forms once so choose the item wisely.

All of these form-change aiding items can be purchased from any PokeMart (under the Evolution Stone tab) and cost about 6000 coins each. Rotom and Castform have also been added to the maps as a wild encounter, check the in game Pokedex page for location details.

Valentines form Feebas, Drifloon and Woobat!

If you are TL 5 and above and prefer to play the map event for the Valentines forms, the wild Pokemon on Start Island and the route maps near Pewter, Cerulean, Viridian and Celadon City now drop the items Rose, Chocolate Bar and Chocolate Drops that you can collect when you defeat them. There are NPCs on the Pallet Town map who are willing to trade the drop items for Heart items. Like last year, the Heart items can be used to trade with Valentines event NPCs for Valentines form Pokemon. These Pokemon exchange NPCs are visiting around Start Island and the various maps of the first half of Kanto.

This event will last for 2 weeks and end on February 28. Have fun and good luck!

Edit 2/16/13: From now until the end of the event, egg hatching is free! Thanks SamdMAN! (Note: this only applies to the coin-based egg hatching, not the instant hatch).

All you have to do is guess the name of the Pokemon in the hint below and spell out its name on your profile lineup using the different letters of the Pokemon UNOWN. Take a screenshot of your UNOWN lineup and post the screenshot on our Facebook Page along with your in game name.

The hint is: “The absence of twin forces of balance bring forth the chilly and eternal emptiness.”

This event will run for one week, and at the end of the week we’re going to pick one random person who got the correct name spelled out using UNOWN will win!

All of the UNOWN letters are now found wild on the maps, but you may need to trade with other players for certain letters.

As a special New Years celebration, there are a couple of New Years NPCs lurking around the Start Island and Cerulean Pokemon Centers who will give you the New Years Cyndaquil and New Years Victini if you do a small favor for them:

(There is also a bonus NPC hanging around Lightfall City for those of you who are TL 100).

Also included in the celebration is the grumpy NPC Professor Mayah who seems rather disappointed with the coming of 2013. He is lurking around the Pewter City Pokemon Center, and if you can manage to cheer him up he will give you the Primal Dialga he acquired for the apocalypse that was supposed to happen earlier this month, hehe.

These New Years NPCs will stick around until January 7, 2013, so go visit them while you have the chance.

In addition to their usual token shop appearance, there are several NPCs that have appeared in Vermilion and Celadon City that are willing to exchange the items Xmas Snowball, Xmas Candy and Xmas Gifts for Xmas form Pokemon or goodies. Sound familiar? These NPCs have also visited last year so if you missed them, now is your change to obtain the Xmas form you have been looking for!

You can obtain the Xmas Snowball, Candy and Gift items by defeating wild Pokemon anywhere within the Kanto region.

We would also like to introduce the new Xmas form Pokemon that will make their appearance this year:
