New Feature: Valor Levels!
0Hi everyone, there is a new feature added: Valor Levels!
If you have a Pokemon that is level 100, you can take it to the Battle Expert in any Trainer Center and activate that Pokemon’s Valor via coins or tokens on the Training Page. For every Valor level you gain, your Pokemon will receive 2 freely allocatable points that you can apply to the Pokemon’s Base Stat of your choice.
Obtaining Valor Exp (Vexp) is similar to normal level exp, you defeat other Pokemon to obtain it. And like regular levels, Valor levels are capped at 100.
You will also gain 1 honor point for every Pokemon that reaches Valor Level 100, so this feature isn’t only beneficial to you, it benefits your clan as well. Have fun and enjoy this update!
PokemonInfinity is Down for Maintenance
8Hi everyone,
PokemonInfinity is currently down for maintenance and will be back up and running in 3-6 hours from the time of this entry. (hopefully)
We are adding a bunch of exciting new features and so this will be worth the wait!
EDIT: Maintenance is taking longer than expected. Announcement will be made when everything is back to normal.
Recent Updates
8Hi everyone, here are some updates/enhancements that have been recently added to the game:
Next Map Functionality for Premium Members: If you are a premium member, you will now be able to quickly access a neighboring map with the new “next map” arrows that are below the PC warp menu. You may need to clear your cache for these arrows to appear.
Encounter Rate Adjustments: Requested by popular demand, the encounter rates for specials are now slightly easier. Normal special types have been edited from 1/2500 to 1/750 and shiny/legy from 1/7500 to 1/1000. Also, special types will now be a little more difficult to obtain; Normal specials will generally need a Greatball for capture, while shinies need an Ultra ball.
Encounter Catch Limit: Because the encounter rates have been lowered, there is now a limit to how many specials you can catch in the wild per day. There is now a limit of 20 specials and 1 legendary Pokemon per day. Premium member limits are 25 specials and 2 wild legendary captures per day.
The database has also been optimized for better speed and performance!
Have fun with these updates!

Galleries and New Commenting Options!
1Galleries have just been added to the game! You can now showcase select Pokemon on your gallery page by going to Town Center > Gallery. By default you begin with 6 slots, but you can get up to 30 slots in total when you buy additional slots with in-game coins.
Also newly added is the ability to comment on your Pokemon’s stat and gallery page through popular social networking accounts such as Facebook, Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail! Simply sign into your preferred site through the plugin button above the comment area and you can comment on and share pages. Have fun!

Update for the Battle Calculation Formula
9ONLY WORKS ON PVP
Lately we have been getting a lot of forum comments and suggestions about the need for improving the current battle calculation formula, and so we’ve been working behind the scenes to inspect the current formula and edit it a bit to provide a more balanced and challenging experience.
We have now updated the game with a modified battle formula that should consider more of the factors and stats of a Pokemon when attacking (meaning there is less chance that you should be one-hit KOed in battle by random moves, or you wiping your opponents the same way). This creates a more exciting battle environment and perhaps longer running battles. Be warned though, stock up on Ethers because you may need them now more than ever!

Clans – It’s on way!
4As most of the people in our IRC have been asking us every day we have been in there, it’s good news for you guys. Clans are on the way, near completion!
Q. What are clans?
Clans, by general definition mean a group of players coming along into a common group. Much like a office, working towards a common goal, working for their clans.
Q. Do Clans have any specific advantages?
Yes, there are. At the moment, we won’t reveal those but it sure will have a place at our Hi-scores to say the least.
Q. What are the requirements to create a clan?
To create a clan, you need to have Trainer Level 15, 5 achievements completed, and 10,000 coins!
Q. If I can’t create a clan, what can I do?
You can, however be invited by a clan leader and you can accept that to join a clan. You need to have your account confirmed, to join a clan.
Q. Any limit on the amount of members on clans?
Yes, there can only be 30 members on a clan. This is to prevent over-powering of clans!
Rest assured, there are a lot of spicy things on Clans that can give you a good time to spend on! Save your breath, it’s near!
