Hi everyone, the Halloween event is here!
Some Halloween themed NPCs have appeared around Cerulean, Vermilion and Celadon city bringing Halloween Pokemon and goodies. In addition to the previous Halloween forms, a few new lines have joined the party including Meinfoo (Halloween) and Beldum (Halloween)!
To obtain them, simply defeat the wild Pokemon on the routes near Pewter, Cerulean, Vermilion and Celadon cities as usual for a chance to obtain a Poke Mask, Zombie Mask, Meanie Mask, Pumkin or Goodie Bag. The items dropped will vary depending on the city route you are exploring. Once you obtain a good amount of them you can exchange them for Halloween form Pokemon or small prizes from the Halloween NPCs hanging around the towns. The wild Pokemon may also randomly drop Cheri and Persim berries- those are for you to keep!
Some of the Kanto routes are also haunted by various regional ghost/creepy Pokemon at night. Be careful, you might bump into one..
This event lasts for 3 weeks and will end on November 18, 2013. Have fun!
It’s PokemonInfinity’s birthday and in celebration the NPC Professor Infinity has a gift Ditto and a small stash of goodies for everyone!
Gift Dittos differ from normal Ditto because they can permanently transform into any starter Pokemon (now including gen 5 starters) and Eevee.
He is located on Start Island A2 and will only be around for about 48 hours so be sure to visit him!
(Note to PIC players: A variation of this event is also on PIC!)
Hi everyone, the summer event series has just begun and will be around for most of the summer! This year we have both the July 4 and Summer forms making an appearance!
July 4 forms!
Start Island has become home to this year’s July 4 celebration, where NPCs bringing the familiar July 4 forms have gathered to watch the fireworks show later in the evening. The wild Pokemon on the island will drop Sparklers and bombs, which can be exchanged for Rocket items through an NPC on Start Island B2.
The first area of Kanto is also well underway with a beach gathering to trade Summer forms! The NPCs have gathered close to Cerulean city and will exchange Summer forms for a nice collection of Beach Umbrellas. How to obtain the Beach Umbrellas? Simply defeat wild Pokemon in the area for Water Balloons and Beach Balls and an NPC along one of the beaches will happily exchange them for Beach Umbrellas.
The July 4 and Summer event are open to everyone TL 5 and above.
Bored with looting things? We have an event area that brings about a different and more difficult challenge! Prof. E.Gadd, that notorious NPC hanging around at Cerulean City 1A, has returned with his challenge to find The Ghostly Soul! (Yes you can actually find it).
If you do manage to find it, he will grant you access to the Summer Mansion which you can freely explore, which has become home to creepy ghosts, Rockets trying to kidnap a troublemaker and most of all, the Crystal Gastly and Lapras!
(Note: Crystal Haunter evolves by using the item Black Flute on it. During the duration of the summer event series you can obtain Black Flutes from Wild Pokemon drops in the Summer Mansion.)
This Summer Mansion event area is open to everyone TL 5 and above, but will have quests up to TL 15.
The July 4 set will run until July 31, the Summer and Prof E.Gadd set will run until August 15. This is a summer-long event that we hope you will enjoy!
And one more thing! You may randomly find Pecha and Rawst Berries dropped from wild Pokemon during the event. These are Summer Berries that are there for you to collect and freely use on your Pokemon.
Hi everyone, the Memorial day forms have been released to the token shop just in time for Memorial day! This year we have 3 new lines added:
and Memorial Drilbur.
Memorial forms have a stat bonus of +20 Attack, Defense and HP and are only available in the Token Shop so grab them while you can!
Also released to the token shop are the 5th gen IDs #572-621! The Unova region is still being worked on and when it is released many of these Pokemon will be found on the maps there, but if you want to obtain one early, now is your chance!
Edit: The second batch of Earth Day Pokemon have been released on various Kanto maps: Sandile, Cottonee, Petilil and Drilbur! Check the Pokedex for locations.
They will disappear from the maps after Earth Day and will not appear again until the Unova maps are released so if you want one early, now is your chance!
Hi everyone, Earth Day is approaching fast and so we have a special treat for you all. In celebration, we have released a few Grass and/or Earth line Unova Pokemon onto the Kanto Region maps for you to find:
Pansage, Deerling (Spring form), Tympole and Sewaddle! Check the Pokedex to find what map they are located on.
These four Pokemon lines will be on the map for 48 hours, then four more Grass or Earth line Pokemon will appear on different Kanto maps until the end of Earth day. After that they will not appear in the wild again until the Unova routes are released.
In addition, the first 25 Unova Pokemon have been released into the Token Shop. Have fun and happy Earth Day!
Happy Easter everyone! The spring season has arrived and so have the Easter forms! Joining the team of Easter Pokemon lines this year are Easter Munna,
and Easter Tympole!
The NPCs have gathered in the Pokemon Center and the town maps of Pewter City for an Easter celebration so if you are interested in obtaining Easter forms you can find them there. They seek Easter Egg Hunt points (a favorite from last year), so if you want to obtain a few, defeat the wild Pokemon around the first 4 Kanto city route maps then speak with the Easter Point Hunter NPC at Pewter City A1 to convert the drop items to Hunt Points.
In addition, when walking around the route maps of Pewter and Cerulean City, you may stumble upon hidden Easter Eggs that you can obtain small goodies from. There are 5 of these hidden eggs in total, so find them all!
This event is open to everyone Tl 5 and above will last for 2 weeks, ending on April 14. Have fun!
The St. Patrick’s day event is here! And the lucky new forms to join this event are:
The wild Pokemon across the Kanto region (this includes Crescent, SandCove, SummerRay and Emerald city) have a chance of dropping the items Two Leaf Clover and Four Leaf Clover when you defeat them.
There are NPCs on the route maps by Celadon, Vermillion and Cerulean city who are willing to exchange Four Leaf Clovers for various St. Patrick’s day forms, as well as an NPC on route 401 who will convert any extra Two Leaf Clovers into Four Leaf Clovers.
This event is open to everyone TL 5 and above and will last for 2 weeks, ending on March 31, 2013.
In addition the Castform and Rotom alternate forms have finally been released!
Castform can swap forms by using the following items:
Castform + Sundrop = Castform (Sun)
Castform + Raindrop = Castform (Rain)
Castform + Snowdrop = Castform (Ice)
Castform can freely swap between any of its alternate forms provided that you have enough of the item needed. Rotom can change forms using the following items:
Rotom + Fan = Rotom (Fan)
Rotom + Washing Machine = Rotom (Wash)
Rotom + Oven = Rotom (Heat)
Rotom + Lawn Mower = Rotom (Mow)
Rotom + Refrigerator = Rotom (Frost)
Please note that unlike Castform, Rotom will only change forms once so choose the item wisely.
All of these form-change aiding items can be purchased from any PokeMart (under the Evolution Stone tab) and cost about 6000 coins each. Rotom and Castform have also been added to the maps as a wild encounter, check the in game Pokedex page for location details.
Have fun everyone!
